Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival at Nairobi’s JKIA Airport, you will be met by Woni Safaris and transferred to your hotel. Later in the morning you will have a safari briefing and proceed to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and have lunch at Utamaduni Restaurant, in the afternoon you will proceed on an Out of Africa Tour which takes you to the former home of Karen Blixen who penned Out of Africa, and a stop at Giraffe Centre, an elevated treetop aerie where we hand feed Rothschild giraffes. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2-3: Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast at Nairobi Serena Hotel depart to the Wilson Airstrip and catch your flight to Masai Mara. Masai Mara is covered with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. This is the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your camp in time for a delicious meal. You will have a late afternoon game drive in search for wild game; black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, and grants gazelle which are quite common returning for dinner and overnight at Kichwa Tembo Camp. The next day you will have morning and evening game drives and you can also visit a village of the Maasai people to witness their singing, dancing, and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. You will return at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4-5: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy an early morning game viewing drive returning for a full breakfast and later you will be transferred to the airstrip for your connecting flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival at Amboseli airstrip you will be met and transferred to your camp. Enjoy a game viewing drive before arriving at your Camp for lunch. After Lunch relax by the pool for a while departing later in the afternoon for another Game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli is famous for its tranquil beauty and easily approachable wildlife—an excellent way to begin our game viewing expeditions. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are made daily.

Day 6-7: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy a pre-dawn game viewing returning to your camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast at Tortilis Camp depart to Amboseli airstrip for your connecting flight to Arusha and proceed to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game viewing drive in the Tarangire National Park before arriving at your tented camp for dinner and overnight. Early morning and afternoon game drives are made daily.

Tarangire is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals- wildebeest, buffalo, and Oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. You will spend another day here with early morning and evening game drivers returning to your tented camp.

Day 8-10: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy a pre-dawn game viewing returning to your camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast at Tarangire River Camp depart to Serengeti National Park which is Tanzania’s famous and oldest park Via Olduvai gorge arriving at your camp In time for lunch. The Serengeti encompasses a massive and pristine wilderness area. Thousands of square miles filled with plentiful wildlife beckon your exploration. Because of its large size, the Serengeti has retained a raw and wild feel that many of the other parks in Africa have lost. There will be a late afternoon game drive returning for dinner and overnight at Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp. You will spend another day here with a full day game viewing drive with picnic lunch returning at your Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast at your Camp, drive and descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a half-day tour inclusive of a picnic lunch by the hippo pools. Often referred to as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. A World Heritage Site, it is also one of the largest volcanic craters in the world (almost 20 kilometres wide, 610-760 metres deep and covering a total area of 264 square kilometres). An utterly unique biosphere, the Crater harbours grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans, a fresh water lake and a glorious variety of birdlife, all enclosed within its towering walls. Due to its high concentration of wildlife, close-range viewing opportunities and striking scenery it is also Tanzania’s most visited destination. In the afternoon, ascend once more to the rim of the crater and the lodge, where you may like to take a massage or a guided walk before dinner.

Day 12-14: Selous Game Reserve

After breakfast at your lodge you will be transferred to the Arusha Airport for your flight to Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and transferred to your Tented Camp. Lunch is at the camp followed by time to relax. Thereafter you will be collected for a first game drive experience in the wildlife reserve. Game viewing drives and activities will be done daily.

The spectacular Selous Reserve, a World Heritage Site and the largest expanse of game reserve in Africa, covers a massive 55,000 square kilometres of rolling savannah. About four times the size of Serengeti and larger than Switzerland, it is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the world. Located in south-east Tanzania in a remote and little-visited part of the country, the Selous Game Reserve covers more than 5% of Tanzania's total area. One of the last untouched gems of the nation's parks, it offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see Africa the way the early explorers found it - pristine, alive with game, empty of tourists and utterly awe inspiring.

Day 15: Depart

Enjoy an early morning game viewing drive before returning to your lodge or camp for a full breakfast. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam. A room will be available at Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel or New Africa Hotel for day room use and dinner before you are transferred to the Airport for your departure flight.
