Duration: 14 Days & 13 Nights DAY 1: Nairobi, Kenya Upon arrival at Nairobi’s JKIA Airport, you will be met by Woni Safaris and transferred to your hotel. You will have a safari briefing before you are taken to the National Museum. Have lunch and in the afternoon you will proceed on an Out of Africa Tour which takes you to the former home of Karen Blixen who penned Out of Africa, and a stop at Giraffe Centre, an elevated treetop aerie where we hand feed Rothschild giraffes. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Nairobi Serena Hotel Day 2-3: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK Today you will be transferred to Wilson airport, where you board your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival at Amboseli airstrip you will be met by Woni Safaris. Enjoy a game viewing drive before arriving at your tented camp for lunch. After Lunch relax by the pool for a while departing later in the afternoon for another Game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight. Amboseli is famous for its tranquil beauty and easily approachable wildlife—an excellent way to begin our game viewing expeditions. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are made daily. Accommodation: Tortilis Camp Day 4-5: MASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast at Ol Tukai Lodge depart to the airstrip spotting game en route. You will fly from Amboseli National Park to the Masai Mara which is covered with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. This is the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your Lodge in time for a delicious meal. You will have a late afternoon game drive in search for wild game; black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, and grants gazelle which are quite common returning for dinner and overnight at Kichwa Tembo Camp. The next day you will a full day game viewing drive and you can also visit a village of the Maasai people to witness their singing, dancing, and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. You will return at your lodge for dinner and overnight. Early morning game drive will be done before departure on your last day. Accommodation: Kichwa Tembo Camp Day 6-7: OL PEJETA SWEETWATERS CONSERVANCY After breakfast at Kichwa Tembo Camp you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary which is a fertile and scenic land formerly part of the historical ‘White Highlands’ to the shadows of the world famous Mount Kenya. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and transferred to your Tented Camp. Lunch is at the camp followed by time to relax. Thereafter you will be collected for a first game drive experience in the wildlife sanctuary. Return at sunset for dinner and overnight at the Sweetwaters Wildlife Sanctuary. The next day you will have a morning and evening game drive and you can also visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. You will also visit the visitors Information Centre returning at your tented lodge for dinner and overnight Accommodation: Sweetwaters Tented Camp Day 8-9: MERU NATIONAL PARK After breakfast at Sweetwaters Tented Camp you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Meru National Park. The park is former home of Joy and George Adamson and Elsa the Lioness. The park is part of a complex of protected areas along the Tana river that includes the adjacent Bisanadi and Mwingi National Park Reserves, Kora National Park and Rahole National Reserve. Wildlife include: Grevy's Zebra, Elephants, Eland, Bush Pig, Lions, Waterbuck, Cheetah, Leopard, Reticulated Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Bohor Reedbuck, Hartebeest, Python, Puff Udder, Cobra, Buffalo and more than 300 recorded species of birds. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are made daily. Accommodation: Elsa’s Kopje Day 10-13: DIANI BEACH Today you will be taken to the airstrip for the Safarilink scheduled flight back to Nairobi to connect with the Safarilink scheduled flight to Diani. Accommodation: Leopard Beach Resort & Spa Day 14: Nairobi After breakfast transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight in light aircraft to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport where upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel, remainder of day at leisure. In the early evening proceed for a farewell dinner; thereafter you will either be transferred to the JKIA Airport for your international outbound flight or stay for overnight before transferring to the Airport.
